1. The Service

InspectMyBook provides automated analysis of book interior and cover PDF files to help authors identify potential formatting, layout, margin, resolution, and other publishing-related issues.

InspectMyBook is an independent service.

InspectMyBook is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or operated by Amazon.com, Inc. or Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP).

References to Amazon or KDP are made only where necessary to describe compatibility or the publishing environment for which the service is designed.

2. No guarantee of publishing approval

InspectMyBook provides analysis and diagnostic information only.

Passing an InspectMyBook check does not guarantee that a file will be accepted, printed, or published by Amazon KDP or any other publishing platform.

Publishing platforms may change their requirements, specifications, or policies at any time. Users are responsible for confirming their files against the current requirements of the platform on which they intend to publish.

3. User accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity conducted through your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and must not use another person's account without authorization.

4. Uploaded content

You retain ownership of the books, manuscripts, cover artwork, and other content you upload to InspectMyBook.

You grant us only the limited permission necessary to process uploaded files for the purpose of providing the requested analysis.

Uploaded PDF files are processed for analysis and are not retained as permanent user files after the analysis is completed.

You must have the necessary rights and permissions to upload and analyze any content you submit.

5. Credits and purchases

Certain InspectMyBook features require credits or payment.

Prices and available credit packages are displayed before purchase. Purchased credits are associated with the user's account.

Payments are processed by third-party payment providers such as Stripe. We do not store complete payment card details.

Credits are not transferable between accounts unless we expressly allow it.

6. Refunds

Because InspectMyBook provides digital services that may be used immediately after purchase, refunds may be limited once purchased credits have been used.

Nothing in these Terms limits any refund or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use InspectMyBook for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or another user's account
• Interfere with or disrupt the service
• Circumvent usage limits, credit systems, or security controls
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the underlying service or software except where permitted by applicable law
• Upload content that you do not have the right to use
• Abuse automated systems or attempt to overload the service

8. Service availability

We will make reasonable efforts to keep InspectMyBook available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when reasonably necessary.

9. Results and limitations

InspectMyBook's analysis is provided as a tool to help identify potential issues. Automated analysis may occasionally produce incorrect, incomplete, or inconclusive results.

Users remain responsible for reviewing their files and confirming them against the current requirements of their chosen publishing platform.

10. Intellectual property

InspectMyBook, including its software, design, branding, interface, and original content, is owned by or licensed to Nomanious Creations LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

These Terms do not transfer ownership of InspectMyBook or its intellectual property to you.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, InspectMyBook is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We do not guarantee that the service will identify every possible problem in a file or that use of the service will result in acceptance or successful publication by any publishing platform.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nomanious Creations LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of InspectMyBook.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account where necessary to protect the service, prevent abuse, address violations of these Terms, or comply with legal obligations.

You may stop using InspectMyBook at any time.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

15. Governing law

These Terms will be governed by the laws applicable to Nomanious Creations LLC, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer protection law provides otherwise.
